Davison Grant - I have served on the Board of Directors providing managerial and financial support for the periods 1992 – 2006 and 2008 – 2009. I was also a member of the Environmental Control Committee during 1992 – 2006. While a member of the Board, I helped oversee over $450,000 in capital expenditures to refurbish the Association’s roads, retaining walls, equipment and buildings. I am an attorney having primarily concentrated on energy regulatory matters, environmental issues, and finance and transactions. I have been a resident in Cat Mountain Villas since late 1988.
John Harrison - Dr. Harrison received his PhD from the University of Texas. He rose to the rank of professor of Chemistry and Biology at the University of North Carolina after having received rank of CPT in USMC. He then became Associate Provost and then Vice President for Academic Affairs, being responsible for sixteen Universities of the System. Then he accepted a position with MCN at the Research Triangle Park as Vice President for High Performance Computing. While at North Carolina he served on the Board of the Lake Forest HOA. His primary function was to oversee swimming, boating and sports fields associated with the organization. In 2004 he has served as a member of the ECC of the Cat Mountain HOA. “I believe that I have demonstrated an ability to direct and lead programs and achieve goals set forth by various organizations. I would like to put these strengths to work as a Cat Mountain HOA board member.”
Richard Schley - I have lived her for over 10 years and feel strongly that this is an excellent neighborhood and should remain that way. The aesthetics and the quality of the neighborhood need to be preserved with input and involvement by homeowners. The CMHOA should be run as a non profit business for the benefit of the homeowners and the betterment of the neighborhood. My business experience has involved extensive dealings with vendors, employees, construction and regulation. I have been involved in settling disputes and usually have had the parties reach a common ground. I am a consensus builder. I have controlled operating budgets up to $125,000,000.
